Heyo! I am Ashley, the artist and creative behind Pure Self Creations, a space to explore creativity and reconnect with self.

I’m a very multi-passionate, DIY type of girl—anything to do with creating or altering something is what I’m all about! My work is a reflection of who I am and what I feel in each moment. At the same time, I found a deep love in geometric artwork, and in a way, it feels full circle for me, as I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Natural Science. After all, mathematics is simply something we’ve created to understand the patterns, repetitions, and synchronicities of the universe. Bringing that into my art is where I find true flow, and reconnection with myself. 

I’ve always loved crafting and creating, but it wasn’t until I realized how impactful it can be on someone that I started to create with deeper meaning. During my dad’s cancer treatment, I made him a bucket hat designed from one of my art pieces to solve a hat situation he was having. He truly loved, supported and had such a firm belief in the power of creation. Seeing the true impact it had, made me realize—this craft isn’t just something personal, it’s something to be shared, cherished and enjoyed with others.

Through Pure Self Creations, I aim to create work that not only reflects my own journey, but also inspires others to reconnect with theirs. To create, to explore, and to remember that we are all capable of turning something within us into something real.

When I'm not creating something, you can catch me outside... but for real outside, most likely with my cat, traveling or out finding your next craft and music show. Following the passion. Up to my next creation! Follow along for the journey!
